Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials that align with customer preferences Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Support food service operations by efficiently managing meal preparation during busy hours Use knife skills proficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food prep tasks Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal assembly and ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all health and safety regulations Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, providing exceptional service and food quality Contribute ideas for improving kitchen workflows and enhancing the overall dining experience Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred Demonstrated dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, showcasing familiarity with specialized meal requirements Strong culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is essential Experience in menu planning, catering, or serving can enhance your ability to excel in this role Proficiency with knife skills and general kitchen equipment is required Background in food service environments that emphasize teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail Join us as a Line Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
