Job description: Job Summary The Clubhouse Mililani is searching for energetic and passionate culinary employees to join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair, ensuring every plate meets our high standards for quality and presentation. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences in our beloved restaurant. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and preparation methods Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices Use knife skills effectively to chop, slice, dice, and portion ingredients with precision Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service times Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Assist with dishwashing duties as needed, ensuring all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is highly preferred but not necessary Willing to train the right individuals Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques required Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures necessary Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Passion for culinary arts with a desire to grow within the food industry Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
