  • Part-time, Seasonal, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join the fast-paced Ritz Team.
Seeking efficient, friendly, hygienic and professional team members. A year-round position, there is room to grow with The Ritz with regards to pay and promotion. We are flexible with scheduling and looking to hire BOTH full & part time positions. Summer is peak tourist season in our area, so expect plenty of hours in our fast-paced, busy and customer service oriented lakeside bar& restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting, and possess a strong understanding of food preparation and handling. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items (grill, pizza oven, salads) according to established recipes and standards in an efficient and fast manner. We like to have our food coming out in a reasonable amount of time. Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and special dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques. Help maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and maintenance. Experience Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to create innovative dishes is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively work within a team-oriented kitchen environment.
