We are looking for a dependable, hardworking and creative cook to join our team! The hours are 12pm-7:30pm and every other weekend commitment. Weekly hours are around 25 hours. Do you love to cook? Do you find excitement in new recipes and skills? Our culinary department at The Gardens of Cedar Rapids is seeking a part-time cook to join our team. The Gardens provides meals every day to tenants in 42 Assisted Living apartments, and 40 skilled/long term care nursing suites. The Gardens of Cedar Rapids is a locally owned and managed senior community that just opened in August 2017. Our campus includes a 30-apartment assisted living, 12 unit assisted living memory care and a 40-bed skilled nursing facility. We pride ourselves on the reputation we have built as the preferred provider and only full continuum of care on the south-west side of Cedar Rapids.
