Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Collaborate with the culinary team in menu planning, ensuring seasonal and fresh ingredients are utilized. Maintain high standards of food handling, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Ensure that all meals are presented beautifully, adhering to fine dining standards. Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in fine dining is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
