Cook - Grill, FT, AM Shift

Come Join the Dordt Dining Team! Creative Dining Services located on the Dordt University campus in Sioux Center, IA is looking to hire a full-time AM Cook to work on the grill Monday - Friday. The Cook ensures that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided in a safe manner. The Cook works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team. Come and be creative! Each day is different and exciting!

Core Responsibilities:

Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of serviceUtilize safe food handling techniques at all timesStore food items according to established standards of practiceMaintain food production records and temperature logsFollow established work rules and regulations; ready for work in the kitchen, in uniform, at the scheduled timeMaintain a safe, tidy and well-organized work environment at all timesCommunicate needs and concerns regarding food production and kitchen operation to supervisor appropriately and in a timely mannerSupport other kitchen employees

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredServSafe Certification preferred
