Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in with food preparation and meal service in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities
- Preparation and serving of meals to residents & tenants
- Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions for meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Support the dietary department in various tasks related to food production
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal delivery
- Provide excellent customer service to residents or patients during meal times Additional duties as assigned to demonstrate appropriate sanitation and infection control practices to meet State and Federal regulations and oversees the general kitchen operations. Skills
- Experience in a nursing home, hospital, or similar setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary requirements
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely meal delivery
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the food industry as a cook/chef.
