Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dietary Manager/Cook to lead our dietary department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this vital role, you will oversee meal planning, preparation, and service for residents or clients, ensuring nutritional needs are met with creativity and precision. Your leadership will foster a positive dining experience, promote health and well-being, and maintain compliance with all safety and health regulations. Duties Develop and implement balanced menus tailored to residents' or clients' dietary needs, preferences, and care plans Supervise kitchen staff and dietary aides, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure high-quality meal preparation and service Conduct patient assessments to determine individual nutritional requirements and create personalized care plans Manage food inventory, ordering supplies efficiently while adhering to budget constraints Oversee food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, sanitation practices, and compliance with health regulations Assist with specialized feeding techniques such as tube feeding or modified diets as needed Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate patient progress through diagnostic evaluations and adjust meal plans accordingly Requirements Must have or willing to get CDM Certificate within 1 years time Proven experience in dietary management within assisted living or healthcare settings Strong knowledge of physiology, nutrition principles, dietetics, and care plan development Supervisory experience leading kitchen or dietary staff in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and specialized feeding methods like tube feeding Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of quality Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation Knowledge of health coaching strategies to promote healthy eating habits among residents or clients Join us in creating nourishing experiences that enhance health and happiness!
