We are passionate about sourcing and serving the freshest seafood available, and we're looking for a cook who shares that passion. This position is ideal for someone who wants more than just a cooking job. We're looking for a motivated team member who is interested in learning all aspects of our kitchen, assisting our full-time fish cutter a couple days each week, and growing into a leadership role that includes running the line and helping develop menu features and specials. Responsibilities Set up, clean, and organize kitchen workstations Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, portioning, and seasoning Prepare grills, ovens, fryers, and other equipment for service Cook and plate menu items according to recipe and presentation standards Sauté, grill, fry, and roast a variety of seafood and other menu items Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Efficiently prepare and expedite multiple orders during busy service periods Understand and follow allergy procedures, special requests, and dietary restrictions Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment Assist with seafood fabrication and fish cutting as training progresses Qualifications Previous cook or kitchen experience preferred Ability to safely handle knives and kitchen equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 25 pounds or more throughout a shift Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Positive attitude and strong work ethic A passion for great food, fresh seafood, and teamwork Servsafe certification required within 60 days of employment. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who wants to build a career, not just fill a position.
