Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble components for various menu items with precision and efficiency Cook dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations Assist with daily prep work to ensure smooth kitchen operations Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines Support catering events and special functions by preparing meals and ensuring timely service Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences for guests Skills Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, meal preparation, and cooking methods Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments, showcasing ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent food preparation skills with attention to detail in plating and presentation Ability to follow recipes accurately and assist in menu planning efforts Effective communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary career while contributing to a vibrant dining environment.
