Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Grill Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! Duties Prepare and cook grilled items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various menu items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage procedures Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Support menu planning by suggesting improvements or new ideas for grilled dishes and accompaniments Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or team members, maintaining a positive dining atmosphere Assist with catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring timely meal preparation and presentation Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food handling standards Kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting provides a solid foundation in food preparation and service techniques Culinary experience including knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking methods enhances your ability to deliver high-quality dishes Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices is essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment Experience with menu planning, food service operations, or catering adds value to your skill set Strong understanding of food handling procedures, especially within a restaurant or healthcare setting, ensures compliance with regulations Excellent communication skills for serving guests or collaborating with team members contribute to a smooth kitchen workflow Embark on this flavorful journey where your culinary expertise makes a real impact!
