In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to perfection, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and components for menu items with precision and efficiency Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Assist in menu planning by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation methods Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and serving Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment such as restaurants, catering, or dietary departments is preferred Demonstrated skills in food handling, knife techniques, and meal preparation Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of culinary practices including cooking techniques and food industry standards Experience with dietary aide tasks or dietary department experience is a plus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary career in a supportive environment.
