Job Description

Overview Join the Gordo's team today! Gordo's is a mobile food business. You can expect to be in different locations everyday. you will work short swing shifts. Shifts will be in the morning and evenings some days. Average day is around 5 hours total.

In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that ensures smooth transactions, provides excellent service, and maintains the highest standards of food safety and handling. Your energy and dedication will help foster a positive shopping experience, making every visit memorable for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting while contributing to a vibrant culinary and food service environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases, ensuring a positive and efficient checkout process Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately and securely Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding areas Support food service operations by food handling, preparation, and serving Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Requirements Experience in food preparation Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques familiarity with meal preparation or catering are advantageous Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating excellent food service skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude that fosters customer satisfaction We are only looking for someone who is reliable and can bring energy, enthusiasm and focus each day. We are not looking for someone to clock in and do the minimum. the right person can expect to earn upwards of $30 an hour. Are you good enough to join the team?
