POSITION SUMMARY
:

LATE NIGHT SHIFTS.
The line cook is accountable for preparing all food dishes according to established recipes.
Note:
Some Front of House responsibilities will be required (i.e. ability to rotate to taking orders on POS when needed) Shifts are 8am-3:30pm OR ~10:30am-7:15pm. Pay based on hourly rate($10-$14) + tips($6-$10) A stage( PAID 15/HR, Zelle only ) is a MUST for ~2 hours. Some light prep and service, availability Monday-Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare a variety of dishes ranging from meats, poultry, vegetables and other items using the restaurant's established recipes Prepare dishes by cooking in broilers, ovens, grills and a variety of kitchen equipment Comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, breading, seasoning and/or marinating Handle, store and rotate all products properly Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed Perform related duties such as helping to wash dishes as needed, preparing recycling and cleaning around the kitchen Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at all times; performs closing clean-up duties Uphold company safety and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employees
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively Must possess neat and clean hygiene Uphold the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize Food handler/ServSafe Certification required, ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Required to work minimum 25 hours per week (when Full Time) Ability to stand/walk 7-8 hours per day Ability to work in a small space Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally Required to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and carry Must be able to tolerate potential exposure to allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy.
