Job Description
Mercadito Lincoln Park is currently seeking PM Line Cooks. Recently opened at 2423 N. Lincoln Ave ., Mercadito Lincoln Park brings the energy, flavor, and hospitality of our original River North location to the heart of Lincoln Park. Affiliated with Mercadito River North, which opened in 2010 at 108 W. Kinzie St., our newest location continues the brand's mission of creating an upscale Mexican dining experience built around elevated authentic Mexican cuisine, specialty tequila and mezcal libations, and a lively atmosphere. Known as one of Chicago's top Mexican restaurants, Mercadito is a go-to destination for fresh ingredients and made-from-scratch menu items, including homemade tortillas and seasonal guacamole, with a focus on consistently delivering bold flavors and authentic recipes. Mercadito Lincoln Park is the ideal spot to start an evening of lasting memories, offering festive cocktails, shareable plates, and a welcoming dining experience. With a vibrant atmosphere and thoughtful design, our new location gives guests the perfect place to relax, connect, and enjoy memorable moments. We are looking for a team member for a Mexican restaurant who is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the following qualities, including but not limited to: Work clean and organized. Respond immediately to orders. Work with a sense of urgency and maintain pace for at least 8 hours each day. Have knowledge of cooking techniques and proper use of kitchen equipment.
