Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Hot Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Prepare and cook menu items efficiently on the hot line, maintaining consistency and quality. Follow detailed recipes and menu plans to ensure accurate meal preparation. Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards. Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service during busy periods. Support catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring timely delivery of hot meals. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook within a restaurant or food service environment. Required experience as grill/sautee chef Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus. Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative kitchen operations.
