Liberty Estates is looking for a full-time Cook. You will Prepare nutritious, palatable and appetizing meals and snacks by following seasonal menus and standardized recipes. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures according to facility procedures and local, state and federal guidelines. Set up and monitor hot bar in dining room at each meal. Serve meals at designated serving times. Keep work area clean and organized throughout shift. Complete kitchen logs and monitor labelling of food. Inventory food and supplies and provide information to Manager prior to weekly grocery order. Prepare food items for activities and special events as assigned. Inspect hot bar, cold bar, dessert and beverage area in dining rooms or neighborhood kitchens, if applicable, to ensure that the area is clean, organized and safe at all times. Provide excellent customer service to all tenants, staff and visitors. Maintain a professional attitude by showing respect and being a positive productive member of the Dining Services team. Perform other job duties as assigned by the Manager.
