Previous Latin cuisine experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person . Must be reliable, work clean , and able to handle a fast-paced environment. this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and handling techniques are followed. Support menu planning efforts by assisting with ingredient sourcing and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and timely meal delivery. Assist in catering events or special functions as needed, providing high-quality meal preparation and presentation. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued. Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper knife skills, and food handling procedures is essential. Experience in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations will help you excel in this role. Strong understanding of the food industry, including menu planning and food service logistics, is advantageous.
