Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver visually appealing meals Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and seasonal specials Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Support food preparation activities such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness of work stations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with meal preparation, cooking methods, and catering is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
