Line Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of kitchen operations, particularly within food service environment. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals that meet the needs of our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure all meals meet nutritional standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and food presentation for catering events. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cooking tools. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Skills Proficiency in culinary techniques and knowledge of various cooking methods. Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within food service or catering. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in meal preparation.
