In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to perfection, and supporting the kitchen's smooth operation. Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences, ensuring every plate served meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring to ensure efficient meal assembly Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to food safety protocols Assist with menu planning by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on available ingredients Support food handling procedures, including proper storage and sanitation practices Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Participate in food prep for catering events or large orders as needed Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs and restrictions Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including knife handling and meal assembly techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in restaurant or food industry environments, showcasing ability to thrive in fast-paced settings Excellent kitchen experience with familiarity in menu planning and food presentation Ability to perform food service tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service when serving guests or assisting with catering This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary career while contributing to a vibrant kitchen environment.
