$17.00-$19.00 per hour (based on experience) + perks!

Sedgebrook is seeking a Prep Cook to support our Community Culinary Services team. If you enjoy food preparation, teamwork, and working in a clean, professional kitchen, this is a great opportunity to grow your culinary skills while making a difference every day. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation for lunch and dinner service. Prepare cold food items and support baking and catering needs. Follow production sheets, approved recipes, and daily prep schedules. Maintain proper food handling, temperature logs, and portion control. Follow all HACCP and food safety standards Support Line Cook functions as needed. Maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedules. Communicate effectively with culinary and dining team members. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Food service experience preferred. Food Service Sanitation or ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain after employment). Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset.
