Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage Assist with meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards and prevent contamination Support kitchen team members during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks Contribute to menu planning discussions by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide role, or food service environment is highly desirable Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and knife handling techniques Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is a plus Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments, demonstrating excellent food industry knowledge Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and serving personnel Join us if you're passionate about culinary excellence!
