Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests while supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or catering service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Assist in plating dishes with attention to presentation details before they are served to guests or clients Follow all food handling procedures to ensure quality control and compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Demonstrated skills in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices in the food industry Practical knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation methods Experience working in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus Strong understanding of kitchen operations combined with excellent teamwork and communication abilities This role is perfect for individuals eager to grow their culinary career while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
