Cook Full-Time | Daytime Hours | Every-Other-Weekend Required About the Role High Point Residence Quincy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our dietary team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, appetizing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. Your attention to detail and passion for cooking will play an important role in enhancing the daily dining experience and overall well-being of those we serve. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and served on time Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and food storage areas Follow all sanitation and food safety regulations Collaborate with the dietary team to meet nutritional standards Assist with special events, themed meals, and occasional catering needs
Qualifications Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of food safety guidelines Ability to read and follow recipes Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Experience in senior living, healthcare, or residential settings Experience with menu planning and inventory ordering Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Skills & Attributes Strong culinary skills and consistency in meal preparation Attention to detail in food quality, presentation, and safety Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude Flexibility to accommodate dietary restrictions and resident preferences Commitment to creating a welcoming dining experience for residents Equal Opportunity Employer High Point Residence is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
