In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong understanding of food handling practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to the menu specifications. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and preparation. Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff.
