The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, culinary arts, and dietary support, with the ability to provide exceptional meal preparation and service in a professional setting. This role involves working closely with our dietary department to ensure high-quality, safe, and nutritious meals are delivered to our clients or residents. The will play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards, menu planning, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines Assist with menu planning to accommodate various dietary needs and preferences Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards during food preparation and service Execute food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations Support catering events or special meal services as needed Demonstrate excellent food handling skills, including knife skills and proper storage techniques Provide friendly and efficient food service to residents or customers Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and quality standards are met Experience Previous experience in dietary aide roles or food service environments preferred Experience in menu planning, fine dining, or catering is advantageous Background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts highly desirable Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques required Restaurant experience or kitchen experience in the food industry is beneficial Familiarity with meal preparation for various dietary restrictions is a plus Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling are preferred This position offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts and food service to contribute meaningfully within a supportive team environment.
