Make a difference through great food. We're looking for a reliable and team-oriented Line/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you'll help prepare high-quality meals that enhance the daily lives of our residents. What You'll Do Prepare foods using standardized recipes and procedures Cook and prepare vegetables, starches, baked goods, sauces, and more Ensure food quality through proper tasting and presentation Portion meals accurately based on dietary needs and preferences Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety practices Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Assist with kitchen cleaning and equipment care What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Ability to follow recipes and perform basic math Strong attention to detail and food quality Team player with a positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment At least two years of prep, line cook, fine dining, or banquet experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for most of your shift Comfortable working in varying kitchen temperatures Able to move throughout the facility and kitchen areas Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 - $21.45 per hour, and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
