Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This position requires you to be able work independently as well as be able to navigate and guide the team during busy or slow days. Must be well organized, self motivated and be able to lead the team at all times. CFPM certificate is preferred. Walk-in interviews welcome during open hours. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols Experience Previous experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry is required Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques Familiarity with fine dining standards and catering operations is preferred Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff Join our team and be part of an exciting culinary environment where your skills will be valued, and your creativity can shine!
