Cook Da Pizza Company Warrenville, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $17 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Pre-cooking preparation Outdoor work Italian cuisine Food Handler Certification Full Job Description About Us At Da Pizza Company, we're passionate about crafting delicious, made-from-scratch pizza in a fast-paced, fun environment — both in our brick-and-mortar location and on our food truck. We're looking for a dedicated Pizza Maker/Cook to join our team and help us deliver an amazing experience to every customer. What You'll Do Prepare and stretch dough, apply sauces, and assemble pizzas according to our recipes and quality standards Operate and monitor pizza ovens (deck, conveyor, or wood-fired) to ensure proper cooking times and temperatures Work efficiently on the food truck during events, festivals, and catering orders Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations at all times Prep ingredients daily (chopping, portioning, stocking toppings) Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food truck workspace Communicate clearly with teammates during high-volume rushes Assist with inventory counts, receiving deliveries, and restocking supplies Adapt quickly to changing menus or special orders What We're Looking For Prior experience in a kitchen or pizzeria setting preferred (we're willing to train the right person!) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-first attitude Comfort working in tight food truck spaces and outdoor environments Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and event-based shifts Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain one before start date) Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
