Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and accommodating special dietary needs. Handle food with proper safety and sanitation practices, adhering to food handling regulations at all times. Support food preparation activities, including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning ingredients efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment cleaning and storage of supplies. Serve meals to clients or guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service. Assist with catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food and managing serving logistics. Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred. Proven background in food industry roles such as restaurant or kitchen experience, with strong culinary skills. Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Skilled in knife work, food presentation, and general food service operations. Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.
