Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include Prepare foods to be cooked in accordance with recipes and allergies and dietary restrictions of guests Previous banquet cook experience preferred Place trash bags in receptacles prior to food service and during meals as necessary Wash cups, plates, utensils, pots, pans, cooking utensils and other kitchen equipment Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, cooking surfaces and equipment Plate salads, entrees and other meals or foods Track inventory of ingredients, supplies, meals, beverages and food stocks and notify chef or kitchen manager of inventory status Clean refrigerators and remove outdated or otherwise unsafe, unsanitary or risky food, beverages or ingredients Perform other duties as appropriate. Education/Qualifications Seeking local candidates. All candidates must be available nights and weekends, including Saturday & Sunday. Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills. Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; goal oriented; work flexible hours as required including evenings/weekends. Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations. Works well with others. Position Physical Requirements Must have the ability to: Read and write English. Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios. Follow verbal and written instructions. Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time. Lift up to 50 lbs constantly. Supervises None Working Conditions Must be available to work Friday night, all day Saturday, all day Sunday.
