Duties Prepare and assemble meals with precision, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and menu specifications Assist in planning menus that balance nutrition, variety, and customer preferences Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation standards to prevent contamination Cook a variety of dishes using proper knife skills and culinary techniques to ensure high-quality presentation and taste Support food service operations by serving meals efficiently and courteously to customers or residents Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold health regulations and safety standards Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food handling in a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices Culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation and knife skills Familiarity with catering services, serving procedures, and kitchen operations is advantageous Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional food service CACFP formulization preferred ServSafe Preferred Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to providing nutritious meals with care and professionalism.
