We are a family-owned, upscale-casual restaurant on the southwest side of Indianapolis, known for our scratch-made kitchen, exceptional steaks, prime rib, seafood, pastas, and warm hospitality. Our restaurant has built a reputation for quality, consistency, and creating memorable dining experiences in a refined yet welcoming setting. Our kitchen is led by experienced culinary leadership and built on teamwork, professionalism, and pride in every plate that leaves the line. We're looking for a skilled PM Line Cook who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and takes pride in craftsmanship. Position Summary As a PM Line Cook , you will play a key role in evening service by preparing and executing dishes to The Library's standards of excellence. This role requires strong cooking fundamentals, attention to detail, speed, consistency, and the ability to work well under pressure during busy dinner service. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items accurately, efficiently, and consistently Execute scratch-made recipes according to house standards Set up and stock stations for dinner service Plate and garnish dishes with care and attention to presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station throughout service Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures Assist with prep work, stocking, and kitchen closing duties Communicate clearly with chefs, managers, and fellow kitchen staff Contribute positively to a team-first kitchen culture What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years line cook experience preferred Experience in scratch kitchens strongly preferred Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume dinner service environment Strong sense of urgency without sacrificing quality Dependable attendance and punctuality Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Evening / PM availability required Weekend and holiday availability preferred (closed most Sundays) Why Work With Us Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Employee dining discounts Family-owned, supportive work environment Professional kitchen with high culinary standards Opportunity to grow within a respected local restaurant Consistent evening schedule Most Sundays off (except limited special occasions throughout the year) Job Type Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule Afternoon / Evening Shift /
