Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning and suggest innovative dishes to enhance guest satisfaction Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timely service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper knife skills and food storage practices Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with precision and attention to detail Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Demonstrated culinary experience, including fine dining or catering environments Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team-oriented attitude Familiarity with dietary department procedures and menu planning is a plus Prior restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
