The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic dining environment, delivering high-quality meals with precision and creativity. Candidates with experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry are encouraged to apply. The position involves preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools Follow food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Support catering events and special functions as needed Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Ensure all food is prepared in a manner that meets dietary guidelines and customer preferences Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of dietary department standards and menu planning experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures Experience with fine dining or catering services enhances candidacy Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for quality control and presentation This position provides an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals eager to develop their skills within a supportive team environment.
