The Cook is responsible for preparing food following the appropriate menus and recipes in accordance with accepted dietary practices and as may be directed by the department director or supervisor. Works diligently to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality and excellent dining experience with each meal. Advances the value that the resident comes first. Training:
One year of experience in dining services in a senior living community preferred. Experience with regular and texture modified diets, Cook, food preparation, dining service, food service, senior living, long term preferred. PMMA offers a generous employment benefits package that includes health care and insurance benefits, paid time off, scholarships and more for employees that work a minimum of 30 hours a week. On the Premium Pay Plan the minimum hours required to receive benefits is 35 hours a week, as a full-time employee.
