Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and special dietary options. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional culinary experiences for guests. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continually improve skills and offerings. Qualifications Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation. Experience with menu planning and dietary considerations is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creativity in preparing diverse cuisines is highly valued.
