  • Part-time, Full-time Martin City Pizza and Taproom is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Back of House Employee to join our kitchen staff.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by preparing ingredients, making pizza dough, and ensuring that our dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards. If you have a passion for food and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
  • Assist in prepping ingredients for sandwiches, pizzas, and salads, ensuring freshness and quality.
Dough Making:
  • Prepare pizza dough according to our recipes and specifications, maintaining consistency and quality.
Cooking and Assembly:
  • Operate the pizza oven and assemble pizzas, sandwiches, and other menu items efficiently and accurately.
Kitchen Maintenance:
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service, communicating effectively to meet customer demands.
Inventory Support:
  • Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. A passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
