Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Substitute -CO-01 to join our team! In this vital role, you will provide flexible support within our dietary department, ensuring high-quality meal service and food safety standards are maintained. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain diverse culinary and food service experience while making a positive impact on our community's well-being. Duties Assist with meal preparation, food handling, and cooking to support daily dietary operations Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and food safety practices Follow menu plans accurately and help with portioning and presentation of food items Support catering events or special meal occasions as needed Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and food preparation surfaces in accordance with health regulations Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Adhere to all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen procedures Skills Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards Experience in food industry settings such as restaurants, catering, or fine dining environments Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members Familiarity with food handling regulations and proper sanitation practices Join us as a Substitute -CO-01 to help deliver nourishing meals that support our community's health and happiness! Pay:
$13.33 - $15.00 per hour
