Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and cooking, ensuring meals are crafted to high standards of quality and presentation Support menu planning efforts by organizing ingredients and preparing components for service Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety regulations Participate in meal assembly, plating, and serving to ensure timely delivery of dishes to guests or clients Contribute to catering events by setting up stations, serving guests, and managing food service logistics Maintain kitchen organization by cleaning work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals according to dietary restrictions or guidelines Skills Proven experience in dietary aide roles or dietary departments within healthcare or hospitality settings, but willing to train the right candidate.
