In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Assist with menu planning and meal preparation to meet dietary guidelines and customer preferences Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of nutritious dishes with attention to presentation and quality Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols Support catering events and special meal services by setting up, serving, and cleaning up afterward Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food service and smooth kitchen operations Contribute ideas for new recipes or menu items that align with dietary needs and culinary trends Requirements Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and food service within restaurant or food industry settings Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Strong knife skills and experience with meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving in a culinary or restaurant setting is a plus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Join us to make a meaningful difference through nourishing meals!
