AM/PM Cook

Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines. Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional balance, and appealing presentation. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision. Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Support the dietary department by assisting with meal service, plating, and food handling procedures. Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and storing ingredients properly to minimize waste. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery during designated shifts and uphold quality standards. Skills Proven experience in dietary or culinary roles within healthcare, restaurant, or food service environments. Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling practices. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for diverse dietary needs. Experience in fine dining or catering settings is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and support a positive kitchen atmosphere.
