Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards Support food preparation activities, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients with precision and knife skills Follow food safety protocols diligently to maintain cleanliness, proper storage, and handling of all food items Contribute to meal planning efforts by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely readiness for service Help with food service operations by plating dishes, serving guests, or assisting in catering events as needed Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment sanitation and waste disposal Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and uphold high-quality standards throughout the shift Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly preferred Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, or food handling in a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently under pressure A genuine passion for culinary arts and serving others Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to nourishing our community through quality food service!
