Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials based on ingredient availability Handle food safely by adhering to sanitation guidelines, proper food handling procedures, and storage protocols Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Demonstrate strong knife skills for efficient and safe food preparation Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and a proactive attitude Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in cooking techniques and food preparation Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and cooking appliances Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of food industry trends, catering processes, and serving protocols Join us as a Line Cook where your culinary talents will shine!
