Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards Cook and plate dishes with precision, ensuring presentation meets quality expectations Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts Serve food efficiently to customers or dining staff while ensuring excellent service standards Manage food handling tasks responsibly, including portion control and inventory management Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Proven ability in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in various settings such as restaurants or catering services Excellent knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques for diverse cuisines Experience with menu planning, food industry standards, and fine dining service is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving customers effectively Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will flourish!
