The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on pizza-making, grill and saute. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Pizza Cook/Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, pastas, hot appetizers and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes. Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and knives safely and effectively. Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed within the dietary department. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food handling safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in meal preparation and cooking. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed customer expectations. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen environment.
