Pending Employment Criminal Background Check Drug Test Successful Score on Employment Test for Cook Classification Job Description See the Job Description at the 'Per Posting Questions' Tab. The summer program cook will work with a representative of the staff to: Execute five pre-planned evening meals (Sunday through Friday, with Thursday night off for cooks), and five morning meals (Monday through Friday), to be served to 84 to 120 people unless the capacity is adjusted by a Regional Coordinator. These volunteers will include high school and/or middle school youth and their adult leaders, and the meals will meet ASP's set summer program menu. Work with summer staff and local food distributors to order food for daily meals, while staying within the established budget. Work with one or more other cooks to prepare the meals mentioned above. Coordinate and direct volunteers in clean-up procedures.
