Full Time Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Cook to join our team at Little Wonders Child Development Center. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food preparation and a strong background in food safety and kitchen operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing nutritious and delicious meals to our children. The successful applicant will have experience in various aspects of food service, including menu planning, food handling, and culinary techniques, ensuring high-quality meal production consistent with safety standards. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines Assist with menu planning to meet nutritional and dietary requirements Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences Serve meals efficiently Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality standards during food preparation and service and follow food program and state guidelines. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, o Experience with menu planning and meal prep Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members professionally
