Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in the child care industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation for all students and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen for breakfast, lunch, & snack. Responsibilities:

• Preparation and cooking of meals (breakfast and lunch) according to recipes and dietary guidelines
• Collaborate with the Dietary Department to ensure meals are prepared and served on time
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
• Help with menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements to existing recipes
• Operate kitchen equipment, such as knives, stoves, ovens, and grills, safely and efficiently
• Monitor food supplies and notify the supervisor when ingredients need to be replenished
• Maintain accurate records of food production and wastage
